As a vital participant in the ACT Alliance, the UCC is assisting some of the most vulnerable among of the victims in Port-au-Prince, Gressier, Jacmel and Bainet in the south. As of Monday (Feb. 22), earthquake-relief gifts sent to the UCC totaled $1,304,864, including $425,737 in online donations. Read more
We are having our first annual Valentine’s Service for GLBTQ people and affirming friends. Don’t try to be alone but get involved, have fun and enjoy a great time. It’s potluck so bring your favorite food to share and meet others just like you. Come out and see what we are about on February 14th at 6 p.m. Please RSVP on facebook.
This coming Sunday we will have two major events taking place:
The worship service will be celebrated to commemorate Boy Scout Sunday. Troop 51 has prepared the liturgy for us and will lead us during the service.
After church there will be a soup luncheon and a soup drive to benefit the food bank. Please bring canned soup! That is our way of remembering Souper Bowl Sunday.
