New Leadership: Carol Menasian stepped up to become our new church moderator. She is supported by her new vice moderator Mike Talbot. This rotation of leadership became necessary since the former moderator Brandi Rail is moving out of state. A big thanks goes out to her for her leadership and with joy and prayer we anticipate a great term for Carol and Mike.

Holocaust Remembrance Day is observed annually on Yom HaShoah, the twenty-seventh day of the Hebrew month of Nisan, which is this Sunday. This is a time for remembrance, education, and advocacy on behalf of the millions of victims of the Holocaust in Nazi Germany. In unprecedented and systemic ways, this period of genocide and mass murder was rooted in hate-driven political rhetoric and scapegoating that pitted neighbor against neighbor, manipulated religion for the sake of evil, and denied freedom by squashing dissent. Still even as the horror of the Holocaust calls to us from a too distant past, the reality of hate-inspired violence lives all around us. History is constantly threatening to repeat itself, and our faith demands constant vigilance. Join us for this observance!
