Golf after church

Uncategorizedadmin, May 26, 2010 @ 11:09 am

Are you a scratch or a bogey golfer? Which handicap do you have to have to be a good person? Well, with God and our church golf crew it doesn’t really matter. Join us this Sunday, May 30th, after church for a round of golf. At least five people are going and we got room for more. We are probably going to play at Fox Hollow. There’s no need to RSVP just bring your gear to church!

Buy one get two free

A Reflection for Trinity Sunday: The Christian God is bigger than just Heavenly Father. As a matter of fact there are more names for God in the Bible than anyone could think of. And yes: They include Mother, Doctor, Eagle, Bear, Oppressor, Enemy and many more. Jesus is not only God’s Son but also the son of man, the good shepherd, the lamb of God, a drunkard and a criminal. The Holy Spirit is not a Ghost, but God’s presence, a wind, a fire, comforter, counselor, advocate. These three have one thing in common: They are equally God. Once you buy into one of them you get the other two for free. The next time you pray you may want to reconsider the salutation you use to address God and open yourself up to the greatness of the Trinity.
