See rookies in action as the Utah Flash battles the rest of the NBA D-League at the UCCU Center!  The Utah Flash is the NBA Developmental League Affiliate to the Utah Jazz and the Atlanta Hawks, so you can see some of their rookies as well.

On February 25 the Utah Flash battle the Reno Bighorns at the UCCU Center. The game starts at 7pm. The prices of the tickets are $8.00 which includes the ticket and a hot dog and a drink. Laser Tag
On Saturday, February 19, at 7 pm, join in the fun of playing laser tag. Our friends of the Rock Canyon Church are organizing this joint event at Lazer Assault just north of St. Mary’s. Interfaith Music Tribute
Sunday February 20 at the Tabneracle in Salt Lake City there will be an interfaith music concert. The address is 60 West North Temple Street. This even starts at 6pm. Everyone has to be seated 30 minutes before the performance starts. It is free but if you are attending you will need tickets. They can be obtained on line at ticketoffice@ldschurch.org or at the box office or you can call (801)570-0080.

Night Skiing

Thanks goes out to everybody who joined us for the festivities for our congregation’s 120th anniversary last weekend. Gallery Stroll on Friday allowed many of the community to stroll through our past. The community fair on Saturday had displays of the following organizations: Children’s Ministry, Anniversary Committee, Downtown Business Alliance, Habitat for Humanity, Food and Care Coalition, United Way, Apostolic Church, Boy Scout Troop 51, Our Church’s Wider Mission, Pregnancy Resource Center, PMM UCC in Provo, Girl Scout Troop 2348, Veteran’s Resource Center. See photos on facebook. Our festival service on Sunday was the first step on our journey to where we as congregation want to be in 2021.

On Saturday, February 12, at 7:00pm we are having our second annual Valentine’s Service for SGLBTQ people and affirming friends. Don’t try to be alone but get involved, have fun and enjoy a great time. It’s potluck so bring your a side-dish or dessert to share and meet others just like you. Dance with live music by “bad alibi” follows. Come out and see what we are about! Please RSVP on facebook.
